To give you some idea as to what is envisaged, extracts from the proposed plans can be viewed below. These are proposals only, following an audit that was carried out; the final plans will only be decided following this consultation process.

About the Library
Charleville Mall Library was among the first of the municipal public libraries to be opened in Dublin during the early 20th century. It is situated by the banks of the Royal Canal on Dublin’s northside.
The library was funded by the Carnegie United Kingdom Trust (this allocated funds donated by Andrew Carnegie 1835 – 1919 a Scottish / American Industrialist, who funded sixty six libraries in Ireland, and approximately 2,500 throughout the World).
